Together with the Americans in Wartime Museum in Virginia, we managed to preserve an important piece of missing history. The Böker Sherman-Damask is with a unique Damask blade equipped forged from various materials from the production of M4 Sherman tanks previously restored by the museum. The unique Damask for us, 80 layers are forged by hand by Chad Nichols in the Customized Ladder pattern and are reminiscent of the tank tracks left in the ground by the heavy chains of the M4 Sherman. The ball-bearing blade is connected via Thumb pin open and stable Steel-Framelock locked, a Hinderer lock stop acts as overstretch protection for the lock.
The overall shape of the knife pays homage to the aesthetic lines of the armor, while the decorative blade axle screw is modeled on the characteristic main drive sprocket. The easy contoured Jute handle shell Micarta feels comfortable in the hand and is reminiscent of the camouflage paintwork used by both the US. Army and the Marine Corps were used. With Harness eyelet and practical deep carryClip (Tip-up/r). Handmade in the Böker Messer-Manufaktur Solingen.
